PCI Municipal Services assumed the management responsibilities of the Cedar Rapids Parking System on May 1, 2021.
The City of Cedar Rapids, Iowa Parking System has 9,665 parking spaces divided among nineteen (14) parking facilities, seven (7) garages, seven (7) surface parking lots and approximately 4,200 On-street spaces of which 1,200 are metered. These facilities are owned by the City of Cedar Rapids and are currently administered under the organization Downtown Parking Management Inc (DPMI).

This overall parking system services approximately 5,000 monthly parkers and another 500,000 transient parkers per year. In addition to over 300 retail establishments in the downtown area we also have events at the US Cellular Center which is a 10,000 seat arena. This venue has a variety of events including concerts, basketball and hockey games and the Iowa State Volleyball Championships which brings in approximately 15,000 visitors over four days.
